Mahindra Thar has always been the Indian choice for off-roading and with the new face-lifted version now here, going off the black top will be even easier.
The new Thar features cosmetic changes on the outside in terms of a revamped bumper which uses plastics, a kink in the canopy and revised headlights and tail-lights to make the car more masculine.
What is really interesting is that the rear tyres of the Thar get a mechanical differential lock in the new facelift model, a great thing to have when your car is losing traction on all ends while off-roading on the worst of terrains. The differential lock is only there in the CRDeversion of the car and not the direct injection model.
The interiors of the Thar also get a hefty update with the cabin now sporting a black and beige color tone. It also gets a new dashboard. The interiors have been quite thoroughly revised to create a pleasant experience sitting inside the Thar.
